Justice Lakshman Highlights Ease of Evidence Recording Under New Criminal Laws

HYDERABAD: Justice K. Lakshman, judge of the Telangana High Court, said that recording of evidence and serving of summons had become easy through the new criminal laws. Justice Lakshman was speaking at the concluding session of the two-day seminar, ‘New criminal laws’, under the aegis of the Metropolitan Criminal Courts Bar Association here. The three new criminal laws include Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhitha, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam. Rajavardhan Reddy, president of MCCBA, said, "We are happy to have hosted the two-day event, which focused on the importance of new criminal laws that are useful for both advocates and the public."
