What is National Security Agreement? US Senate unveils deal providing major relief to H1B and H4 visa holders

In a major relief for H-1B visa holders, the US Senate has unveiled the "National Security Agreement" pertaining to H4 visa holders. The US Senate has approved the "National Security Agreement" regarding H4 visa holders. According to a fact sheet released by the White House on Sunday night, this bill will allow work authorization to about 25,000 K-1, K-2, and K-3 non-immigrant visa holders annually and approximately 100,000 H-4 spouses and children of certain H-1B nonimmigrant visa holders who have completed immigrant petitions. The White House said the bill provides relief to over 250,000 individuals who came to the United States as children on their parents’ work visas.
