Indore to set up India's first public-private green waste processing plant

Indore has opened the first Public-Private Partnership model-based green waste processing plant in the country under the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban. Indore, being the cleanest city in India, has also taken a leap by launching a green waste processing plant in conjunction with Astronomical Industries Private Limited located in Indore. WIDESPREAD USAGE OF PROCESSED GREEN WASTE In different industries, powdered processed green waste can be classified into various categories: Eco-friendly fuel: Sawdust has the ability to be considered a green fuel and can be used instead for more sustainable burning. INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO WASTE BALANCE THROUGH COMPOSTING Besides this plant, other anonymous private firms constructed in SIRPUR other facilities of a surface between 10000 and 15000 square feet intended for the processing of garden waste, which consists of leaves and other small branches.
