The report follows after the Pakistan government headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to implement a string of measures to avert a financial crisis in the cash-strapped country. As the country’s financial condition deteriorates, the government directed the AGPR to cease the clearing of bills, including salaries of government employees, The News reported on Saturday.
