'You are a fraud': Ex-DNC head unloads on defector who called Dems a 'cult'
Former Democratic National Committee chairman Jaime Harrison took to X on Wednesday to unload on Lindy Li, a former Democratic Party donor who in recent months has taken to making the rounds on right-wing cable networks, proclaiming herself sympathetic to President Donald Trump and calling the Democratic Party a "cult" of failures who refused to heed her warnings. Li has raised eyebrows from political observers in recent months, many of whom have noted that she was an outspoken, down-the-line partisan Democrat throughout the election and even attacked anyone who criticized President Joe Biden's mental fitness — something she now claims had been obvious to her all along. The particular appearance that caught Harrison's attention was Li's appearance on Newsmax, where she said she sounded the alarm for months that Democrats' warnings about Trump being a danger to democracy weren't landing, and "I brought this issue up" with Harrison, and "you know what he did? This follows another public swing Harrison leveled at Li the previous week, after she heavily implied in a panel discussion with Piers Morgan that she voted for Trump.
