Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven expected to miss Fulham match with hamstring injury
New York TimesMicky van de Ven is unlikely to have suffered a serious injury but is expected to miss Tottenham Hotspur’s upcoming match against Fulham this Saturday, boss Ange Postecoglou has said. The Netherlands international was substituted off in the 49th minute of Tottenham’s four-goal victory away at Aston Villa last Sunday with what appeared to be a hamstring problem. Tottenham travel to Fulham in their final match before the March international break, and Postecoglou is confident the centre-back won’t be out for a significant period of time. “He is unlikely for Fulham, but with the international break, hopefully he doesn’t miss too much after that.” Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League, two points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, who have played one game more.
