But in lieu of that, I’d take the next best thing – I’d have more photos, more documentation of our time together and more snapshots that capture his unique character and sense of humour. If you still have a dad and he’s part of your life, my advice would be this: be sure not only to cherish the moments in real time, but also keep some kind of note.
