Vendors protest in Chittoor over Old Bus Stand issue

Small-scale merchants and street vendors within Chittoor Municipal Corporation limits staged a protest on Friday over the long-standing Old Bus Stand issue, demanding better living conditions and business opportunities. Addressing the gathering at Old Bus Stand complex, Mr. Karunakar Reddy told the protesters that the YSRCP stood with them and that party chief Y.S. He warned that if the Telugu Desam Party-led government fails to act, Mr. Jagan would personally visit Chittoor to support the affected traders. Mr. Vijayananda Reddy slammed local representatives for neglecting vulnerable communities, including small-scale traders and minorities.
