Dinakar reviews implementation of Central schemes in Sri Sathya Sai district

20-Point Programme chairman Lanka Dinakar on Wednesday asked District Collector T.S. Chetan to investigate the quality of assets provided through material component expenditure of MGNREGS in Sri Sathya Sai district over the past five year. Mr. Dinakar was holding a meeting to review the implementation of Central schemes and projects as well as issues relating to infrastructure, along with the District Collector, Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy and officials of various departments. Mr. Dinakar asked the officials to increase the utilisation of working days as only 50.81 working days out of the prescribed 100 working days have been utilised by the eligible families. Mr. Dinakar said 98,715 women self-help group members in the district have been identified as ‘Lak Pati Didi’ beneficiaries, and the officials were asked to reach the set target quickly.
