Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access : Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access, is a non-profit organisation that aims to empower underprivileged and marginalised children by giving them access to quality legal education, in a bid to enhance the diversity in law schools across India. Conceptualised in 2010 as the brainchild of late Prof. Shamnad Basheer, IDIA has since expanded to over 600 volunteers across 20 states, and the IDIA Delhi Chapter specifically has rapidly grown since 2011 and a robust set of approximately 75 to 100 volunteers at National Law University, Delhi prepares scholars for legal entrance examinations each year. 3rd IDIA Delhi Chapter Article Writing Competition: The IDIA Delhi Chapter is thrilled to announce the 3rd edition of its flagship Article Writing Competition, in collaboration with Saraf and Partners, a leading full-service Indian law firm, and the Centre for Labour Law Research and Advocacy at National Law University, Delhi. Based on Labour and Employment Law, the theme for this edition will be ‘New Work and New Workers: Rethinking the Labour Law Framework.’ Themes: Following are the sub-themes on which participants can write articles: 1. Perks: The IDIA Delhi Chapter is also pleased to offer exciting prizes to the winners of the competition: The author of the best article shall be awarded an internship opportunity with Saraf and Partners, and the 2nd and 3rd position holders shall get an opportunity to intern with the Centre for Labour Law Research and Advocacy, NLU Delhi.
