Read our privacy policy Stormzy has released a new diss track about Wiley titled “Disappointed” amid an ongoing feud between the two grime stars. The pair became embroiled in an online feud after Wiley, known by many as the “godfather of grime”, began taking shots at Stormzy on Twitter. On “Eediyat Skengman”, Wiley raps: “It’s not homage, looking like a sly one, I know when a brudda and a label join together and they try one / They all copy me, they want some of my one / It don’t work though ’cause this my ting / And I’m the heavyweight champ of the grime ting.” Another verse includes the lyrics: “You never cared about grime, you just used it / Worse than Ed with your watered down music.” On “Disappointed”, Stormzy raps over a cold, stark beat and recalls how he showed Wiley respect and even shared a stage with him. “Wiley’s a p***k he love talk s**t/Then he sobers up and begs it.” Check out the track below: He repeats the refrain “I’m not mad I’m disappointed” and encourages listeners to buy his latest album Heavy is the Head, which was released last year to critical acclaim.
