YSRCP's under construction central office demolished
New Indian ExpressChallenging the preliminary proceedings of the APCRDA to demolish the under-construction building, YSRC approached the High Court. In addition, YSRC alleged that CRDA, with the help of municipal officials, carried out the demolitions and ignored the High Court's directives. YSRC claims that no notices were given and that the actions constitute contempt of court, promising to bring the matter to the High Court's attention. Pothineni Srinivasa Rao, TDP Guntur district general secretary filed a complaint with the authorities, stating that the previous government had allotted 2 acres of irrigation land in Tadepalli survey number 202/A1 for the party office. He also alleged that no application had been made for the construction plan of the YSRC office and that construction began without any permission and to take action against the unauthorized construction.
