Naidu urges people to return TDP to power
TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu called upon a massive gathering of people, who were mobilized from all the nine Assembly constituencies of the district, to boycott Congress and return his party to power so as to enable him to develop the residuary A.P. During his hour-long speech at the Praja Garjana that began at 7 p.m. on the sprawling Ayodhya Maidan grounds here on Wednesday, Mr. Naidu compared AICC president Sonia Gandhi with Nathuram Godse and said that his appeal for equal justice for both the regions was ignored and the State bifurcated. Now Union Minister Jairam Ramesh talks about sanctioning “alms”. We are ready to choose one after appointing a committee within six months after the elections.” Criticising the Congress and YSR Congress in equal terms for their corrupt practices during the last 10 years, he said that he would rebuild Seemandhra on a par with Singapore, S. Korea, and China.
