The elder woman told Bangalore Mirror that she called up the TV channel, asking them why they had published their images. She stated,“They told me that Bangalore Mirror had published the story and there was nothing wrong in them doing the same.” The firing comes after a story by the Bangalore Mirror that reported the first lesbian wedding to take place in India.
