McDonald's rival slashes prices to lowest level in a decade

White Castle is the latest burger chain to enter the fast food price war - slashing the price of its famed sliders to the lowest amount in a decade. Like most fast food restaurants, White Castle has seen sales fall this year - and is hoping the offer will lure back fast food fans. White Castle joins McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, Starbucks, Popeyes and Taco Bell in rolling out a deal, which were all recently rated for value by experts. Casual dining chains such as Applebee's have also waded into the value meal market in an attempt to pinch customers from fast food rivals such as McDonald's.
