India to launch tri-service military exercise in eastern sector from today

This initiative aims to integrate the capabilities of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, with a focus on joint operations in demanding mountainous terrains. The exercise will be a platform for showcasing several sophisticated platforms and assets from all three services, including fighter and reconnaissance aircraft, strategic helicopters like the Chinook and Advanced Light Helicopter, and M777 Ultra-Light Howitzer Artillery Systems. The exercise, Poorvi Prahar, will embrace cutting-edge technological advancements such as Swarm Drones, First Person View Drones, and Loiter Munitions.
