Alec Baldwin says he’s ‘not allowed to make any comments’ on ‘Rust’ shooting investigation
Alec Baldwin has spoken out amid the ongoing “Rust” investigation, fielding questions on camera for the first time since the fatal on-set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. “I’m not allowed to make any comments because it’s an ongoing case,” said Baldwin in a video obtained by TMZ on Saturday. We are in constant contact with him because we are very worried about his family and his kid.” He added: “We’re eagerly awaiting for the sheriff’s department to tell us what their investigation has yielded.” When asked whether he would work on another film involving firearms, Baldwin said he couldn’t answer the question. “I do know that an ongoing effort to limit the use of firearms on film sets is something I’m extremely interested in,” said Baldwin.
