Chaos erupted in a House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing after Democrats called on Elon Musk to testify. Committee chair James Comer quickly recognized Rep. Virginia Foxx, who moved to table that motion, and the motion was then seconded by Rep. Clay Higgins, and Democrats spoke out after the chairman said the issue was not open for debate. "Mr. Chairman, I think it's outrageous that this committee will not even entertain a motion," said Rep. Melanie Stansbury, as Comer spoke over her.
