Haryana CM Saini flays AAP govt. in Delhi over contaminated water issue

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday hit out at former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of failing to make proper arrangements for water distribution, which he said has forced Delhi residents to consume contaminated water. Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Saini alleged that the AAP government in Delhi systematically diverted 28 drains into the Yamuna river. Mr. Saini said, “The people of Delhi would teach him a lesson in the upcoming general elections.” “Mr. Despite being in power for the last 10 years, Kejriwal had failed to improve the Delhi’s water distribution system, leading to the continued consumption of contaminated water by the Delhi residents,” Mr. Saini said.
