'Interesting': Experts say Trump admin. may have accepted court loss to avoid testifying
Raw StoryExperts flagged an eyebrow-raising decision from the Trump administration in which it appeared to accept a court loss rather than have its head of the Office of Personnel Management testify. President Donald Trump's administration is in court over the mass firing of probationary employees in the federal government who are new to the position. WUSA's Jordan Fischer and Politico's senior legal affairs reporter Josh Gerstein both pointed out that the administration seems willing to take a loss in the case to avoid calling Ezell to give answers under oath. It has been less than a week since court records revealed "Ezell may be refusing to appear in front of Judge Alsup next week as ordered," said Senior Immigration Council fellow Aaron Reichlin-Melnick on Wednesday.
