All charges dismissed against one of four suspects in slaying of Oakland police officer

Oakland police Officer Tuan Le was fatally shot Dec. 29 as he and another officer were responding to a burglary at a cannabis store. One of four men initially suspected in the shooting death of an Oakland police officer late last year had all charges against him dismissed this week, the Alameda County district attorney’s office confirmed Thursday. Le was fatally shot Dec. 29 as he and another officer were responding to a burglary at a cannabis store around 4:30 a.m. He was already facing charges in another case that include felony kidnapping to commit robbery or a sex crime, second-degree burglary and possession of a firearm by a felon.
