
Cooperatives create space for women to take the lead: WFO chief

He spoke at an event ‘UN Year of Cooperatives: Building Women’s Cooperative Leadership Networks Through Capacity Building’ organised by The Working Women’s Forum - Indian Cooperative Network for Women. Andreas Kappes, Secretary General, International Raiffeisen Union, Germany, said, women leaders are stepping forward to create solutions that benefit all. Nandini Azad, president of the Working Women’s Forum and Indian Cooperative Network for Women said, she noted that WWF-ICWN focus on women cooperatives has garnered internationally attention, solidifying its reputation as a leading force in the cooperative sector.
