Local dancers from the Gillespie school star in American Ballet Theatre’s ‘Nutcracker’

Gillespie School at at Segerstrom Center for the Arts who will join the prestigious dance company on stage for its production of “The Nutcracker” that opened Thursday at the Segerstrom. “Each rehearsal brings new energy and dedication and it’s wonderful to see them embrace the magic of the story.” When the American Ballet Theatre company dancers arrive, the two groups rehearse together. “It makes me feel happy.” American Ballet Theatre’s “The Nutcracker” runs until Dec. 22. at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa.
