"It's important for me to acknowledge that without more decisive action, across all levels of government, working with investors, industry and communities, the energy transition could fall short of what the country needs," he said. Mr Chalmers pointed to planned changes to environmental regulations aimed at streamlining approvals for new renewable projects, and the new Net Zero Authority's role in coordinating major projects as they're developed.
