49% fail to take booster dose in TS
Hyderabad: As many as 49 percent of Telangana’s citizens do not intend to take the precaution dose against Covid-19 as they are not convinced about its benefits, while nine per cent won’t take it unless it is free, as per a survey. The survey had 1,874 respondents who were asked the following question: “The Government has now opened precaution doses for all adults on a payment basis via private vaccination centres. Given that, would you be taking the dose in the coming 3 months and why?” About 49 percent of respondents replied in the negative as they were not convinced of the precaution dose’s benefits, while for nine percent, the cost of the vaccine was an issue. Only about 19 percent of respondents said they would take the dose for additional protection from Covid-19, while six percent said they would take it as it was mandated to travel to foreign countries.
