Dolphins put off contract extension talks with Tua Tagovailoa and Christian Wilkins until end of the 2023 NFL season

Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier told reporters Wednesday the team plans to table contract talks with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and defensive tackle Christian Wilkins until the end of the season. Miami picked up the fifth-year option on Tagovailoa's rookie deal, and he recently said that he and the team hadn't had any contract talks beyond that. Tua Tagovailoa has mutually agree to push back extension talks until the end of the season Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier informed reporters of the news on Wednesday Dolphins' defensive-tackle Christian Wilkins has reiterated his desire to stay with the team Wilkins, who had 3.5 sacks in 2022, is entering the fifth year of his rookie deal and will get $10.7 million this season.
