Kamal Nath said that Madhya Pradesh is the only chief state in the world that does not yet have a home or health minister after the Shivraj-led BJP government took charge in the state. Kamal Nath announced his resignation as Madhya Pradesh chief minister after his government fell short of numbers in March. The 22 rebel Congress MLAs, whose resignations from the Madhya Pradesh Assembly had led to the fall of the Kamal Nath government, joined the BJP on Saturday, national general secretary of the party Kailash Vijayvargiya said.
