Bharathiar University signs MoU with Manipal University for furthering research in green energy

Bharathiar University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Manipal University, Jaipur, to strengthen research and academic collaboration for arriving at green energy solutions. The MoU valid for five years envisages driving innovation in biomaterials, tissue engineering, biosensing, and energy storage, with a special emphasis on green energy. Rupa Gunaseelan, Registrar, Bharathiar University, and Ashima Bagaria, Associate Dean of the School of Physical and Biological Sciences at Manipal University, Jaipur, exchanged the MoU documents. In 2024, the university was placed at 44th position under ‘Overall’ category and 26th under ‘University’ category, and ranked first among general State universities in Tamil Nadu.
