My son was tortured: Techie Atul Subhash's grieving mother faints

"My son was tortured," said the grieving mother of Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash, moments before she fainted during a media interaction while talking about her son's suicide. Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old Bengaluru engineer, died by suicide on Decmber 9, and left behind a 1.5 hour video and a 24-page note in which he alleged harassment from his estranged wife and her family. The police have filed a case against Subhash's wife and her family under sections 108 and 3 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act, following a complaint from Atul, Subhash’s brother. In response to the allegations of harassment, Subhash's mother-in-law told India Today TV, "Atul Subhash has taken out his frustration on us."
