Mysuru unit of Lokayukta submits MUDA case probe report to ADGP; report to be submitted to High Court on Saturday
The Mysuru unit of the Lokayukta police submitted its investigation report on the alleged scam in the allotment of 14 alternative sites to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife, B.M. While hearing a petition by the complainant, Snehamayi Krishna, seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the case, the High Court on January 15 asked the Inspector-General of Police, Lokayukta, to oversee the probe by its Mysuru unit ADGP, Lokayukta, to examine the report, and submit it to the court. However, Lokayukta police officials have been tightlipped on the contents of the investigation report submitted by their Mysuru unit. “The report is voluminous and will be examined and submitted to the High Court by Saturday evening or, at the latest by Monday morning,” a senior Lokayukta official said.
