How did ex-wife Kiran Rao react to Aamir Khan almost deciding to quit films

In 2022, actor Aamir Khan announced he was taking a break from films, leaving his fans concerned. While many speculated that his decision followed the disappointing performance of Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office, Aamir recently revealed in an interview that he actually decided to quit films during the coronavirus-induced lockdown. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, Aamir said his former wife, director Kiran Rao, started crying when he told her about his decision. He said, mid-way through Laal Singh Chaddha's shoot, he realized, "I have spent a bulk of my adult life, from the time I became an assistant at 18, right up to now.
