Congress, TDP scheming against Jagan: YSRC
The leaders of YSRC gathered in full strength to take part in a day-long protest demonstration at the District Collectorate here on Tuesday when they accused the ruling Congress party and the Telugu Desam Party of conspiring against their party president Y.S. Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, Udayagiri MLA Mekapati Chandrasekhara Reddy, Kovur MLA Prasanna Kumar Reddy, district president Meriga Muralidhar, city convener Anam Venkataramana Reddy and others participated. Mr. Prasanna Kumar Reddy and Mr. Venkataramana Reddy launched an attack on the Anam group in Nellore, saying that they had no moral right to criticise Jagan going by their background. The YSRC leaders challenged Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy to a public debate on the issue of corruption. YSRC activists led by district convenor Narayan Swamy and Chittoor assembly constituency in-charge A.S. Manohar staged a moun deeksha in front of the Collectorate here on Tuesday to protest against the ‘illegal confinement’ in jail of their president and Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy.
