Kishan Moots Double Bedroom Homes for Lake Oustees

Deccan Chronicle

HYDERABAD: State BJP president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said that HYDRAA must follow principles of natural justice and be compassionate when demolishing the homes of the poor. In an open letter to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Kishan Reddy said that 13,000 poor and middle-class families reside in the Musi catchment area. "Before demolishing their homes, the government should engage in discussions and make alternative arrangements like providing them with double bed-room houses before going ahead with the Musi Riverfront Development Project," Kishan Reddy said. Kishan Reddy said the earlier BRS government burdened the state by raising thousands of crores of rupees in exchange for poorly planned projects.
