Don't need to learn history from BJP: Sanjay Raut on naming of sports complex after Tipu Sultan
As the naming of a garden in a sports complex in Mumbai's Malad after 18th century Mysore ruler Tipu Sultan gathers steam, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party, saying "We know about Tipu Sultan, don't need to learn from BJP". A day after the new facilities in Malvani area were inaugurated, news agency ANI quoted the Sena MP as saying, "BJP thinks that only they have history's knowledge. On Wednesday, the Mumbai Police arrested Bajrang Dal workers who protested against the ‘naming’ of the garden in the sports complex after Tipu Sultan.
