AP will build Amaravati house even if centre stops funds: Sajjala
Deccan ChronicleVIJAYAWADA: Adviser to state government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Saturday declared that Jagan Mohan Reddy government will bear the entire expenditure of constructing 50,000 houses in Amaravati in case the union government stops funds for the YSRC government’s mega housing programme. Ramakrishna Reddy, along with housing minister Jogi Ramesh, social welfare minister Merugu Nargarjuna and Housing MD Lakshmisha, visited Venkatapalem in Amaravati to inspect the arrangements being made for the launch of the housing construction programme by Chief Minister Y.S. Ramakrishna Reddy said maintained that even if the centre is not willing to share the cost of construction of these houses, the state government is ready to bear the entire cost burden. The government adviser suspected that TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu’s conspiracies to deny land to poor in Amaravati will continue, like he had done by filing court cases in the past through proxies.
