Meghadri Gadda Under Control, Says Collector

Visakhapatnam: Due to heavy rain, the water level in the Meghadri Gadda Reservoir in Pendurthi mandal has surged to 57.4 feet. Harendira Prasad and MLA P.G.V.R Naidu visited the reservoir for an assessment, as it is a crucial water source for Vizag residents. The collector highlighted that the reservoir's maximum water level is 61 feet. The district collector said that the irrigation, revenue, and police departments are ready to discharge water through four reservoir gates to lower areas.
