Integrated bus terminus will become operational in February, says K.N. Nehru

Minster for Municipal Administration K.N. Nehru on Wednesday said the Integrated Bus Terminus at Panjapur on Tiruchi-Madurai Highway would be inaugurated in the last week of February. He said the passengers should not be put to hardship in any manner, as it was expected that three lakh to four lakh inbound and outbound passengers were expected to use the terminus daily. Tiruchi Corporation began constructing the bus terminus and the truck terminal in October 2022. Since the start of foundation work, Mr. Nehru, who played a key role in shifting the bus stand, makes frequent visits to review the progress of building the bus terminus, which takes place on a piece of land owned by the Corporation at Panjapur.
