Namayi Ruchita brought more cheer to the Telangana camp when she won the silver medal in 100 metres hurdles with a time of 14.28 seconds, coming behind Karnataka’s Unnati Bollanda, who clocked 14.00 seconds. In the girls section, Chukka Srilakshmi lifted gold in the 81kg while Kurnool’s Palati Dhatri bagged silver in the 76kg. On the wrestling mat, promising Antim, who was seconds away from beating 2018 Asian Games gold medallist Vinesh Phogat during the Commonwealth Games trials, dominated the Girls 53kg category to clinch her second Khelo India gold in 3 years.
