State govt corporation to build 36,000 low-cost flats small cities and MMR
Hindustan TimesMumbai: Under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana scheme, the Maharashtra Housing Development Corporation is constructing 36,000 small houses in tier-2 and 3 cities including Solapur, Nagpur, Satara, and Titwala in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The houses have an area of 300 to 600 sq ft, with prices ranging from ₹ 9 to ₹ 17 lakh for the economically weaker sections, low-income groups, and middle-income groups.
