The parents of an aspiring doctor who was murdered by her husband in Sydney's west have told her killer he has broken their family, their future and their hearts. 'The deep ache in my heart never stops' In a statement read by a support person, Ms Hayat's mother Mahafuza Akter said her life "fell apart" the day her daughter was murdered. She said Ms Hayat was "stolen" not only from the family, but from the thousands of people she would have helped as a "wonderful medical doctor". Ms Akter remembered how beautiful her daughter looked on the day they received their Australian citizenship and said she "would give anything to see her face just one more time".
