Both victims sustained critical burn injuries.Hearing their cries, neighbors rushed to the scene, managed to extinguish the flames, and rescued the couple. They were immediately transported to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, where they are receiving treatment for their life-threatening injuries.Local police have detained Rout for questioning as investigations are underway to determine the events leading up to the attack.
