Fake vehicle insurance racket unearthed in Hyderabad, three agents arrested

A fraudulent vehicle insurance policies and government documents racket was unearthed by the Shamshabad Special Operations Team on Friday. Three men—Md Awyes, Buneti Shravan Kumar Goud, both working as Regional Transport Authority agents, and Morsu Shiva Kumar —were arrested. The scam was uncovered following a complaint from the agents of an insurance company, who reported fake insurance documents being issued in the company’s name. The gang was found to be involved in fabricating fake vehicle insurance policies under the names of prominent insurance companies such as Reliance General, Bajaj, HDFC, ICICI, and Tata AIG.
