Sufi music concert ‘Symphony of Harmony’ in Kozhikode on Feb. 17

Internationally acclaimed Sufi music troupe ‘Char Yaar’ will perform in Kozhikode on Monday. The event named ‘Symphony of Harmony’ with the theme ‘Music of unity against communalism’, is being organised by Deshiya Manavika Vedi chaired by poet K. Satchidanandan. Mayor Beena Philip, chairperson of the event, told reporters here on Friday that the members of Char Yaar were from different communities and were known for their harmony music concerts. Madan Gopal Singh is a music director and an orator, while Dileep Castelino is a guitarist and banjo player and an expert in western music, jazz, and pop music.
