The delegation, comprising Sathyapal Singh, MP, BJP Andhra Pradesh president D Purendeswari, P C Mohan, MP, and Gowda, was announced by BJP national president J P Nadda after a series of crackdowns were carried out on BJP leaders. One of them related to the protest organized against the removal of a party flag mast erected outside the compound of BJP State President K Annamalai’s house. A report would also be submitted to the party president and also to Home Minister Amit Shah since what was happening in the State was serious, he said, adding that when flag posts of various political parties are allowed to remain even on highways, the one outside the State President, K Annamalai’s house was removed.
