Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia meet Chandrashekhar Azad, demand arrest of attackers

Wrestlers Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia visited Azad Samaj Party chief Chandrashekhar Azad on Thursday at the Saharanpur district hospital in UP and demanded immediate arrest of those who attacked the Bhim Army chief. Calling it shameful, she said, “The police should immediately identify and arrest the assailants.” Earlier in the day, a case of attempt to murder and SC/ST act was registered by the Uttar Pradesh police. Chandrashekhar was injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on his car at Deoband in Saharanpur district on Wednesday evening. Azad Samaj Party member Manish was driving the vehicle when unidentified assailants fired at Azad on Wednesday around 5pm in Deoband area of district Saharanpur.
