Economic survey 2025: Survey calls for tax breaks on EVs, subsidies on renewable energy for low-carbon lifestyles

India will need to focus on the indigenisation of technology and raw materials as an “urgent task” to achieve the transition to electric mobility, even as the global automobile industry looks to reduce its dependence on China, the Economic Survey said.
