KCR to Hold Cabinet Meet on December 4, Dismisses Exit Polls
Deccan ChronicleHYDERABAD: Exuding confidence that the BRS government would return to power for the third term in the Assembly election results on December 3, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has convened a Cabinet meeting at the state Secretariat on December 4. The sudden decision of the Chief Minister to hold the Cabinet meeting of the new BRS government on December 4 without waiting for December 3 results created a sensation in political and government circles, especially at a time when the majority of the exit poll surveys predicted a Congress victory in Assembly polls on December 3. The Chief Minister held a meeting with senior party leaders and reportedly told them not to believe exit polls. The Chief Minister reportedly told them that the BRS government will assume office for a third term on December 4 and he will hold the first cabinet meeting on the same day at Secretariat to take decisions on implementation of promises made to people in Assembly polls.
