NBA’s top free-agent power forwards in 2023: Draymond Green, Cam Johnson and more
New York TimesEditor’s note: This story has been updated to reflect Derrick Jones Jr.’s and Taurean Prince’s additions to the free-agent market. Keep in mind I’ve only listed likely free agents here; Otto Porter Jr., for instance, has already opted into his player option for the year and was thus omitted; similarly, team options on Isaiah Livers, Lamar Stevens, Nathan Knight and Kenyon Martin Jr. Other partially guaranteed or non-guaranteed players who seem unlikely to be waived and aren’t listed below include Jarred Vanderbilt, Haywood Highsmith, Bol Bol, Jonathan Isaac, J.T. Justise Winslow, 27, Portland: $3,356,444 Winslow still has some value if he can ever stay on the court: He’s played 11, 26, 48 and 29 games in his last four campaigns. Given Warren’s age, it seems likely some team will bet on him being better another year removed from the injury and give him another shot on a minimum deal. Kevin Knox, 23, Portland Portland could theoretically pick up Knox’s team option for $3 million, but that’s likely an overpay for a team that has luxury-tax issues already.
