Paul Lynch wins Booker Prize 2023 for dystopian novel Prophet Song

Irish author Paul Lynch has won the 50,000-pound Booker Prize, for his novel Prophet Song, a dystopian novel set in Ireland in the near future. "It's very difficult for journalism to enter into the individual life of somebody who may be going through these kinds of tumultuous political upheavals and events," Lynch said.
