NRS junior doctors to meet Mamata Banerjee to end impasse

The Junior doctors have agreed to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to negotiate their demands. Director of medical education Pradip Mitra, who attended the general body meeting, tried to mediate a middle path for the junior doctors and the government. "The doctors had demanded two to five representatives from each medical college be present during their meeting with the Chief Minister. The venue for the meeting will be decided soon," a spokesperson of a joint forum of junior doctors told reporters here.
